Ingredients

2 pounds of Purple or black corn
Cooked whole beans
Aguashte in water
Spicy chili
1 pinch of Salt

Step 1 : Soak the corn during the morning and grind it at night, letting it rest in a bit of water.
Step 2 : When preparing, strain the mixture and add water and salt to taste, then bring everything to a boil in a pot until a thick consistency is achieved.
Step 3 : Serve the hot atol in a small gourd and can be accompanied with aguashte, beans, cooked castilla, and a few drops of chili.
Step 4 : It is usually served with bread, such as French bread.
