Pacaya Stuffings
Ingredients
6 Tender cooked pacayas
120 grams of Mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons of Cream
2 Eggs
1 pinch of Salt
2 tablespoons of Flour
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare fresh pacayas, peel them and cook in boiling water with salt for 5 minutes to soften.
Step 2 : Meanwhile, mix the mozzarella with the cream for the filling and set aside.
Step 3 : Then, wash the pacayas, cut them in half, and fill them with the prepared cream.
Step 4 : In a bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then add the yolks and flour to use as a wrap for the stuffed pacayas.
Step 5 : Fry the pacayas in hot oil for 3 minutes, remove them, and drain on paper towels.
Step 6 : They can be served with a tomato-based sauce.
