Shrimp Pupusas
Ingredients
100 grams of Corn flour
320 grams of All-purpose flour
100 grams of Shrimp
4 Tomatoes
½ Onion
1 Green chili
2 Garlic cloves
Oil
1 pinch of Salt
30 grams of Lard
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare these delicious pupusas, first mix the corn flour with the all-purpose flour, salt to taste, and 30 grams of lard, kneading until achieving a homogeneous consistency.
Step 2 : Then, let the dough rest.
Step 3 : Next, peel, clean, and cook the shrimp.
Step 4 : Once cooked, cut them into small pieces.
Step 5 : Finely chop the onion, chili, garlic cloves, and tomatoes, then mix with the shrimp.
Step 6 : In a skillet with hot oil, place the shrimp with the vegetables and sauté for 3 minutes.
Step 7 : To assemble the pupusas, take small balls of dough, flatten them, and create a hole with your fingers to add the shrimp and vegetable filling.
Step 8 : Seal with the same dough, pressing to form the flattened shape of the pupusa.
