2 cups of Grated cheese

½ cup of Lard or butter

½ cup of Cream

Water

1 cup of Grated sweet bundle

Preparation

Step 1 : Place the corn flour maseca in a bowl and knead until you get a homogeneous dough.

Step 2 : Add the cheese, cream, and lard, mixing well.

Step 3 : It is important not to add too much water to prevent the mixture from becoming liquid.

Step 4 : In another step, grind the grated sweet bundle, panela, piloncillo, cinnamon, pepper, and clove until you get a powder.

Step 5 : This mixture is used to decorate the tustacas, although it is optional.

Step 6 : Once the dough and the grated sweet bundle are ready, take a portion of dough, approximately the size of a soup spoon, form a ball, and flatten it to create a circular tortilla.

Step 7 : Place the tortilla in a baking dish.

Step 8 : Sprinkle the tortilla with the grated sweet bundle and spices and bake at 350 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes, until the tustacas are golden and crispy, with a delicious sweet and spicy flavor.

Step 9 : Once baked, the tustacas are ready to be enjoyed.
