Vegetable Pie
Ingredients
1 Medium carrot diced and cooked
1 Chayote diced and cooked
1 cup of Broccoli cut into small florets
3 Eggs
½ cup of Milk
1 Chicken broth
2 teaspoons of Oil
1 tablespoon of Finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon of Chopped green chili
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : In a saucepan with hot oil, sauté the onion and green chili.
Step 2 : Next, add the rest of the vegetables and the broth, and continue sautéing.
Step 3 : Set aside the sautéed vegetables.
Step 4 : Then, in a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5 : Add the milk to the eggs and mix with the sautéed vegetables.
Step 6 : Pour the mixture into a silicone mold or a greased baking dish suitable for baking bread.
Step 7 : Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C) and bake the pie until cooked through.
