Ingredients
1 Chilacayote
Lime water
2 cups of Water
Brown sugar top
Preparation
Step 1 : The chilacayote is peeled and chopped; then it is placed in lime water for 8 hours.
Step 2 : After that time, it is washed well and left to drain so that it dries.
Step 3 : Subsequently, it is boiled in a deep container, with the brown sugar top chopped and dissolved in 2 cups of water, for 12 hours.
Step 4 : Special care is taken to prevent sticking.
Step 5 : Once soft and cooked, remove from heat.
Step 6 : Let it cool.
