Ingredients

6 Egg whites

1 pinch of Salt

1 teaspoon of Vanilla

2 cups of Sugar

Food coloring

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the espumillas, first beat the egg whites until they reach a stiff peak or a soft, foamy consistency.

Step 2 : Then, add the salt and vanilla, and if you want them in colors, add the food coloring.

Step 3 : Next, add the sugar and beat with an electric mixer on high speed until the mixture thickens.

Step 4 : Place special baking paper on a tray to prevent the espumillas from sticking, and using a pastry bag, form mixture balls on the tray.

Step 5 : Bake at 275°C for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Step 6 : Once baked, let them cool, and the espumillas are ready to be enjoyed.
