Ingredients

1 Dulce de panela

1 cup of Agua

½ teaspoon of Extracto de vainilla o anís, menta, jugo de limón

2 tablespoons of Mantequilla

Preparation

Step 1 : Place a pot over heat with water and let it boil until the panela candy thickens and takes on a caramel-like consistency.

Step 2 : Lower the heat and let the candy cool.

Step 3 : Once lukewarm, place butter on your hands and form an elastic dough with the panela candy.

Step 4 : Stretch and twist the dough until it acquires a creamy and almost solid consistency, adding drops of lemon juice to soften the flavor, or you can use vanilla, anise, mint, or cinnamon.

Step 5 : Then, cut the dough into pieces or roll it into long bars and wrap them in cellophane.
