Coconut Horchata
Ingredients
2 cups of Raw rice
1 cup of Water
1 cup of Coconut water
1 Fresh shredded coconut
1 cup of Milk
1 cup of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Vanilla
1 tablespoon of Ground cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious drink, start by placing the rice in a bowl and covering it with enough hot water.
Step 2 : Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 6 to 8 hours.
Step 3 : The next day, drain and discard the rice water.
Step 4 : In a blender, combine the coconut water, milk, soaked rice, and shredded coconut.
Step 5 : Add the sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to the mixture, and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 6 : Refrigerate the beverage before serving, and enjoy it very cold.
