Ingredients

3 pounds of Morro seed

4 ounces of Cacao

8 ounces of Sesame

4 ounces of Cinnamon

8 ounces of Pepitoria

2 Nutmeg

4 ounces of Cilantro seed

10 Peppercorns

3 pounds of Rice

2 cups of Milk

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious horchata, first toast each of the mentioned grains over low heat in a saucepan, taking care not to burn them to prevent the mixture from turning bitter.

Step 2 : Once toasted, grind all the grains finely to obtain a powder with a consistency similar to coffee, which can be stored in sealed containers.

Step 3 : Then, mix the powder with water to obtain a watery paste.

Step 4 : Next, dilute the mixture with milk and water, passing it through a fine strainer to remove any seed residues.

Step 5 : Finally, refrigerate the horchata to serve it later or enjoy immediately with ice.
