Plantain Atole

Ingredients

6 Green plantains

200 grams of Sugar

100 grams of Panela candy

Ceylon cinnamon sticks

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The plantains should be chopped into large pieces without removing the skin.

Step 2 : Then, add them to a pot with boiling water and cook until tender.

Step 3 : Once cooked, remove and place in a bowl to peel and mash them well until you get a puree.

Step 4 : This puree is reintroduced into the water where the plantains were cooked, adding 200 grams of sugar and cinnamon to taste.

Step 5 : Stir and cook until reaching the desired consistency.
