Beans with Beef Bones

Ingredients

900 grams of Beans

1 kilogram of Beef bones

½ Onion

1 Pipián

3 Garlic cloves

1 Chayote

Vegetable stock

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot with enough water, add the beans along with half a sliced onion and 3 garlic cloves.

Step 2 : Cook for about 45 minutes until the beans are almost tender.

Step 3 : Add the beef bones, 2 cups of water, and salt to taste before the beans are fully cooked.

Step 4 : Cover the pot and let it cook over medium heat.

Step 5 : Cut the chayote and pipián into slices and add them to the pot along with two tablespoons of vegetable stock.

Step 6 : Cook until the chayote and pipián are tender and the stew has thickened.

Step 7 : Once everything is ready, serve the hot stew and enjoy.
