Beer-braised Meat

Ingredients

500 grams of Meat cut into pieces

4 Potatoes washed, peeled, and cut into pieces

1 Carrot cut into small cubes

1 teaspoon of Chopped parsley

1 Beer

2 Crushed garlic cloves

1 Finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon of Flour

1 pinch of Salt

1 cup of Beef broth

1 teaspoon of Nutmeg

Oil

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a saucepan, sauté the meat until browned, seasoning to taste, and then set aside.

Step 2 : In the same saucepan, sauté the onion with the potatoes and carrots, adding salt, pepper, and also the flour.

Step 3 : Stir constantly to prevent lumps from forming.

Step 4 : Then, add the reserved meat to this preparation and let it boil for about ten minutes before adding the beer.

Step 5 : Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about an hour or until the meat is tender.

Step 6 : When serving, you can garnish with fresh parsley.
