Braised Chicken
Ingredients

8 Chicken pieces
6 Tomatoes
½ pound of Onion
2 Garlic
1 Chile
1 Cilantro and parsley bundle
3 Medium potatoes
2 Carrots
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : In a hot skillet, add oil.
Step 2 : Add ¼ chopped onion and sauté for one minute.
Step 3 : Then add the chopped garlic.
Step 4 : Incorporate the previously washed chicken with lemon and season with salt.
Step 5 : Cook until the chicken is golden.
Step 6 : In a blender, place the tomatoes, remaining onion, and green chili.
Step 7 : Mix everything and add to the chicken, along with a bit of ground pepper.
Step 8 : Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Step 9 : Add the potatoes and carrots in thick slices.
Step 10 : Let it cook for approximately 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Step 11 : Once the vegetables are ready, add the chopped cilantro and parsley.
Step 12 : Cover and cook for 5 more minutes.
