Breaded fillets

Breaded fillet is nothing more than fish fillet wrapped in bread crumbs. In El Salvador, it is prepared following this simple recipe.

Breaded fillets are a traditional culinary preparation from El Salvador that consists of cuts of fish meat, usually salmon or snapper, which are breaded and then fried until golden and crispy.

Ingredients

2 pounds of Fish fillet (salmon or snapper)

1 cup of Bread crumbs

2 tablespoons of Seasoning

1 tablespoon of Ground pure garlic

1 Beaten egg

1 pinch of Salt

Vegetable oil

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : You should start by seasoning the fillet, which has previously been cut into 6 portions.

Step 2 : Then, mix the breadcrumbs with the seasoning and the ground pure garlic.

Step 3 : Next, proceed to pass the portions through the beaten egg and then through the breadcrumbs, gently pressing the fish to compact the breading on all sides.

Step 4 : Subsequently, heat enough oil in a pan to a high temperature.

Step 5 : Add the breaded fillets one by one and fry them for a few minutes until golden.

Step 6 : Finally, remove from the heat, place on absorbent paper to drain, and voilà!
