Chuletas de res con tortilla

Ingredients

500 grams of Ground beef

1 Finely chopped onion

1 Egg

2 teaspoons of Chopped cilantro

3 Tortillas

½ teaspoon of Ground black pepper

8 Tomatoes

1 teaspoon of Cornstarch

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the onion, a teaspoon of cilantro, the pepper, the salt, and the egg, and set aside.

Step 2 : Then cut the tortillas into sticks and fry until golden brown.

Step 3 : Next, take a portion of the ground beef and form a ball, placing the fried tortilla stick in the center.

Step 4 : Then, fry in hot oil until all the chops are golden brown.

Step 5 : Meanwhile, blend the tomatoes, onion, and cilantro to prepare the sauce, which is then brought to the heat.

Step 6 : Add salt to taste and finally, add the cornstarch previously diluted in a little fresh water.

Step 7 : Let it boil until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 8 : To serve, accompany the chops with this sauce, rice, and a salad of your choice.
