Ingredients

4 Fish fillets

½ cup of Lemon juice

1 Sliced onion

1 Sliced tomato

½ Sliced red bell pepper

½ Sliced green bell pepper

4 Banana leaves

¼ cup of Vegetable oil

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2 : Next, wash the fish fillets with cold water and place them in a container.

Step 3 : Then, add lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste, letting them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Step 4 : Meanwhile, prepare the banana or bijao leaves by cutting them into large rectangles and blanching them in hot water.

Step 5 : Once ready, place a fish fillet on each banana leaf, add the vegetables on top, and wrap them up.

Step 6 : To ensure the packages stay closed, you can use toothpicks.

Step 7 : Then, place the packages in the oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes.

Step 8 : Once done, serve hot accompanied by rice and beans, to enjoy a delicious meal.
