Salvadoran Fried Rice
Ingredients
1 pound of White rice
1 tablespoon of Oil
1 tablespoon of Finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon of Peas
1 Chicken bouillon
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot with hot oil or butter add the onion to sauté for a minute, then add the rice and cook until golden.
Step 2 : Then add a cup and a half of water, followed by the peas, salt to taste, and the chicken bouillon.
Step 3 : Cover the pot.
Step 4 : If desired, vegetables can be added.
Step 5 : Let it boil and then lower the heat to cook slowly.
Step 6 : Check that the rice is cooked before serving.
