Ingredients

1 Large turkey

½ pound of Prunes (remove the pit)

½ Jar of capers

½ Jar of olives

1 cup of Wine

4 Carrots, sliced

6 Large potatoes, cut into fours

4 Medium onions, sliced

½ Head of garlic, peeled and crushed

6 Green chilies

10 Medium tomatoes

Turkey gizzards

A small bag of relajo spices

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious turkey, first melt the butter and mix it with mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.

Step 2 : Then, marinate the turkey with this mixture.

Step 3 : The next day, place the turkey in a preheated oven at 350°F.

Step 4 : Every 30 minutes, baste the turkey with the juices released.

Step 5 : After an hour in the oven, remove the turkey and add the remaining ingredients, except for the wine.

Step 6 : Continue baking for approximately another hour and a half.

Step 7 : Meanwhile, toast the ingredients from the relajo packet on a griddle.

Step 8 : Then, carefully blend the toasted ingredients with the relajo and gizzards.

Step 9 : Add about 3 cups of water and cook in a deep pot over medium heat until the sauce thickens.

Step 10 : Once the turkey is cool, slice it and serve with the hot sauce.
