Stewed chicken
Ingredients
8 Chicken pieces
6 Tomatoes
½ pound of Onion
2 Garlic cloves
1 Chili pepper
1 Bunch of cilantro and parsley
3 Medium potatoes
2 Carrots
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Heat oil in a hot pan.
Step 2 : Add ¼ of chopped onion and sauté for a minute.
Step 3 : Then add the chopped garlic.
Step 4 : Add the chicken previously washed with lemon and seasoned with salt.
Step 5 : Cook until the chicken is golden brown.
Step 6 : In a blender, place the tomatoes, onion, green chili.
Step 7 : Mix everything and add it to the chicken, along with a little ground pepper.
Step 8 : Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 9 : Add the potatoes and carrots in thick slices.
Step 10 : Cook for about 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked.
Step 11 : Once the vegetables are ready, add the cilantro and parsley.
Step 12 : Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
