Honey-covered French Toast
Ingredients
1 Yolk Cake
5 Eggs
½ Panela candy (jaggery) sweet
Cinnamon sticks
4 Cloves
Oil
Liquid milk
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by beating the egg whites until they reach a foamy consistency.
Step 2 : Then, add the yolks one at a time and continue beating for a few more minutes.
Step 3 : Next, cut the cake into slices approximately 3 fingers thick.
Step 4 : In a skillet with plenty of hot oil, fry the slices of French toast.
Step 5 : First, dip them in liquid milk in a bowl, then in the beaten eggs, and fry on both sides until golden.
Step 6 : Meanwhile, in a pot with water, place the panela candy, add cloves and cinnamon to taste, and cook over low heat until the candy has completely dissolved.
Step 7 : To serve, place the freshly fried French toast on a plate and drizzle with the freshly prepared panela honey.
