Ingredients

500 grams of Flour

14 Egg yolks

1 pinch of Salt

1 cup of Ice-cold water

500 grams of Milk

500 grams of Powdered sugar

2 tablespoons of Soaked and ground rice

1 Cinnamon stick

Preparation

Step 1 : First, for the base of the sweet, mix the flour with the egg yolks and salt using your fingers until forming a moldable dough.

Step 2 : Then, add the cold water and continue mixing until achieving a lighter consistency.

Step 3 : Next, roll out the dough with a rolling pin, making sure it remains thin. Cut small circles of about 5 centimeters and lift the edges with your fingers to then place them in a previously greased mold.

Step 4 : Later, bake in the oven at 300°F for approximately 20 minutes, or until they turn golden. Remove and set aside.

Step 5 : For the filling, place the milk in a container and add the rice, mashing it with a spoon or fork until dissolved.

Step 6 : Then, pour the mixture into a pot, add the cinnamon and sugar, and put on heat.

Step 7 : When it starts to come away from the sides of the pot, remove from heat and fill the tartarita bases with this mixture, smoothing it with a spoon.

Step 8 : And there you have it, the tartaritas are ready to serve.
