Ingredients

8 Ice cream cones

½ pound of Tamarind pulp

½ liter of Water

1 pound of Sugar

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the tamarind sorbet, peel and remove the seeds from the tamarinds.

Step 2 : Then, cook the pulp in boiling water for 15 minutes and strain.

Step 3 : Next, blend the cooked tamarind pulp with sugar and water until you get a smooth mixture.

Step 4 : Once the mixture is ready, pour it into popsicle molds or ice cream machine and freeze for 6 hours.

Step 5 : If you don't have an ice cream machine, you can place the mixture in a metal container in the freezer, stirring every hour for 1 minute over 6 hours.

Step 6 : To serve the sorbet, simply place it in cones or bowls and, if desired, accompany with strawberry or tamarind jelly.
