Ingredients

1 pound of Red beans

3 liters of Water

1 Large onion cut into four parts

½ cup of Oil

½ pound of Bacon cut into pieces

½ cup of Whipped cream

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The beans are selected, removing impurities and bad beans.

Step 2 : Soak in water covering them overnight and rinse the next day.

Step 3 : Cook in a pot with water, adding ½ cup of cold water when it starts to boil, repeating this process three times.

Step 4 : Then add the onion and oil.

Step 5 : Once it boils again, add the bacon and simmer for about two hours.

Step 6 : After that time, adjust the salt and add the whipped cream before serving.
