Ingredients

1 Large glass jar

4 cups of Grated cabbage

½ cup of Onion in strips

1 Carrot in strips

1 Chopped carrot

¼ Cauliflower

3 tablespoons of Salt

1 cup of Yellow vinegar

1 Bay leaf

Chicken broth

Oregano

6 cups of Boiling water

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the curtido, start by slicing the cabbage, carrots, onion, and any other vegetables into julienne or thin strips, placing them in a pot with boiling water.

Step 2 : Let it rest and drain.

Step 3 : Then, place the ingredients in a large glass jar, starting with the carrot shreds, followed by adding the rest of the vegetables and seasonings.

Step 4 : For the flavors to meld, it is recommended to let the curtido rest for at least 4 hours before consuming.
